The Arts Center Presents - The Architect and the Emperor of Assyria
Performance: May 7, 2021 - May 29, 2021
The Arts Center Presents is excited to mount a live production of Fernando Arrabals’s
surreal absurdist ideals with "The Architect and the Emperor of Assyria" which challenges
the audience's notion that ethics and justice are undermined by human weakness as the
main character imparts the notion of morality in an attempt to “civilize” the sole
inhabitant of a desert island.
Bring your lawn chair or blanket and spread out to enjoy the shaded circle drive in
front of the Fort Worth Community Arts Center. The outdoor venue allows the Arts Council
to provide a safe environment for enjoying live theater while providing space for
social distancing. This classic play will be performed at the Fort Worth Community
Art Center’s outdoor space Fridays and Saturdays, May 7-29, 2021.
